To change your ipone/ ipad e-mail password, you may find the following instructions helpful. - Unlock your ipone/ ipad.
- Tap 'Settings'.
- Scroll down and tap on 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars'.
- Tap on the account for which you would like to change the password.
- If it says 'IMAP' at the top, then click 'Account'. Otherwise skip this step.
- Under 'Incoming Mail Server', change the password to your new password.
- Under 'Outgoing Mail Server', tap 'SMTP'.
- Under 'Primary Server', tap on your mail server (e.g. mail.yourdomain.com).
- Under 'Outgoing Mail Server', change the password to your new password.
- Tap 'Done' in the top right corner.
- The settings will now be verified. This may take a few minutes. You MUST wait for this process to complete.
- If you get a 'Cannot Send Mail' window pop up, then the password is wrong and you must retype the password.
- Once it has verified, tap the button in the top left corner.
- Then tap 'Done' in the top right corner
