| 1990-2000 | We have provided an ongoing service to Oakwood Farm since 1995, which has involved the analysis,
design and build of their Customer & Order Processing database, their Vehicle & Machinery
Maintenance database, and their Livestock Rearing, Movement & Vaccination database. All three
systems were built using Microsoft Access. Customer mailshots were achieved using Microsoft Word
MailMerge facility, in conjunction with the Customer database.
I have built their Accounting System using Microsoft Excel, and provided and configured
their networked system of PCs.
I have recently built their Web Site,
using raw HTML, JavaScript and ASP, and am providing ongoing support in this area. The Site is driven by several Access databases, using ASP, with the following key features :-
- customer registration and customer details maintenance
- password protected ordering system, with shopping basket
- password protected Webmaster area, for maintenance functions
- automatic e-mail confirmation of orders, and password violation warnings
